Cyprus Sparks is for people aged 18 and over. If you believe a user may be under 18, report the account immediately and do not continue the interaction.

Report inappropriate behaviour

Use the in-app Report control for behaviour or content that may breach our rules. Reports can be reviewed by authorised moderators and may result in content removal, suspension or an account ban.

Block users

Use the Block control when you no longer want another user to interact with you through Cyprus Sparks. Blocking is a safety tool and does not require you to continue a conversation.

Content moderation

Cyprus Sparks applies safety filtering to relevant text content and uses moderation controls for profile photos. Content that fails safety checks or requires review can be prevented from appearing publicly.

Protect your money and accounts

• Do not send money to someone you met through the app.
• Do not send cryptocurrency, bank transfers, gift cards or investment payments at another user's request.
• Never share passwords, verification codes or authentication credentials.
• Be cautious if someone quickly moves the conversation away from the app and begins requesting money or sensitive data.

Meeting in person

• Meet in a public place for an initial meeting.
• Tell a trusted person where you are going.
• Arrange your own transport where practical.
• Keep control of your phone, belongings, food and drinks.
• Leave if you feel unsafe or pressured.

Protect your privacy

Avoid sharing your home address, financial details, authentication codes or other information that is not needed for dating. Precise location is optional in Cyprus Sparks and can be removed from the app.
